Thorncrest Plaza is a convenient shopping stop in the neighbourhood with a grocery store and selection of fine shops that all suit the Princess-Rosethorn lifestyle. Lloyd Manor Plaza provides added convenience with larger big box stores such as Metro and Shoppers’ Drug Mart.
This neighbourhood is home to some of the city’s best golf clubs, including St. George’s Golf and Country Club as well as the Islington Golf Club. These clubs add to the active, social feel of the neighbourhood.
An abundance of parks are scattered throughout the community including Lloyd Manor Park, Princess Anne Park, Princess Margaret Park as well as walking trails along the Mimico Creek. Rosethorn Park is very popular among residents and has a large playground, two baseball diamonds and three tennis courts, home to the Rosethorn Tennis Club.
