1. St Margaret’s Annual Christmas Market

There certainly isn’t a shortage of Christmas markets this year for all your shopping needs. This week you have another huge choice, including St Margaret’s Anglican Church’s Annual Christmas Market, Neilson Creative Centre’s Handmade Art and Fine Craft Sale, Sir Adam Beck’s Annual Winter Bazaar, St. Gregory’s Annual Christmas Bazaar , St Demetrius’ Christmas Bazaar, and the Applewood Christmas Market.
2. Black Oak Crafts and Beer Market

Where: Black Oak Brewery, 75 Horner Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 4X5
Cost: $5 – $10
We have one more market to tell you about and this will be especially enticing for all the beer lovers out there. Black Oak Brewing Co. will be celebrating local artists and displaying handmade goods inspired by the craft beer industry. You’ll also be able to sample Black Oak beers, and the first 50 guests will receive VIP welcome bags. Plus, it’s all for a good cause as 50% of tickets sales will be going to the Furniture Bank.
3. Lakeshore Arts: Eighth St. Skatepark Mural Project

Another great fundraiser happening this weekend is this event to raise money for the Lakeshore Arts Eighth Street Skatepark Mural Project. There’ll be some cool swag available for purchase, live music, a raffle, and more.
4. Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra’s Pastoral Wonders

Cost: $15 – $30
There’s nothing like a good concert to get you in the festive spirit. This Friday, the Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing their Pastoral Wonders concert. Enjoy music inspired by the beauty of nature, including Beethoven’s sixth symphony.
5. Canada 150 – Hockey Night in Canada & Great Canuck Hits

Another concert you might want to check out this weekend is the Ontario Pops performance at Humber Valley United Church. They’ll be playing along with the Durham Chamber Orchestra to deliver a wonderful tribute to Canada.
6. Martin Grove United Church Concert for Hunger

If you want to donate to a food bank this year, this is a great opportunity. This event combines a musical celebration with the collection of donations for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Head over to enjoy an afternoon of song and bring along food items to drop off prior to the event.
7. Big Band Christmas at Old Mill

Now this one will seriously get you feeling festive! The Swing Shift Big Band will be at Old Mill on Saturday wowing the audience with their big band versions of holiday classics. Hear covers of hits from Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and lots of other favorites.
8. Baking for the Victorian Christmas Table at Montgomery’s Inn

9. Carolling in the Kingsway

Ready for some Christmas carols? Five local choirs and one band will be getting together this Sunday to perform the Carolling on the Kingsway Concert in support of the Out of the Cold program. They’re expecting a big turnout, so there’ll be two chances to enjoy the show!
10. iMovie for Beginners at Brentwood Library
