1. Kingsway Lambton Art Show and Sale

The Kingsway Lambton Art Show and Sale is an annual event showcasing the work of local artists. Whether you’re just looking or you have a wall space in mind, you can browse a fantastic selection of affordable art. What’s more, you’ll be supporting local charities too!
2. Bloordale United Church Mammoth Rummage Sale

Now that spring is here, rummage sale season can officially begin. Head over to Bloordale United Church to get your fix. You’ll find collectibles, jewelry, sporting goods, toys, games, and more.
3. Senior Women’s Fashion Show

Age doesn’t matter when it comes to glamour and the senior women’s fashion is a great example of this. This event at Franklin Horner Community Centre showcases clothes by Zacks Fashions and includes a four-course gourmet lunch with wine.
4. Weekend with Jane Austen

Adore Jane Austen? Here’s your chance to experience what her life was really like at the Jane Austen Weekend organized by Jane Austen Dancing and the York Regency Society. The event includes Georgian-themed meals, music, workshops, and discussion groups, as well as lively events including parlor games and dancing. Participants are encouraged to wear period costumes, which are available for hire!
5. Qigong Classes

Dr Marina Quattrocchi will be teaching the ancient Chinese art of Qigong every second Tuesday at the Unitarian Fellowship of Northwest Toronto. Learn to relax and heal your body and mind with a series of flowing movements and balances. Classes are suitable for all ages and abilities.
6. Neil Diamond Tribute Concert

With a career spanning more than 50 years, Neil Diamond is one of the most popular singer-songwriters of all time. You can hear his most celebrated hits sung live at this tribute concert at the Old Mill. A treat for fans and live music lovers.
7. Kingsway-Lambton Flea Market

Another church having a sale this month is Kingsway-Lambton. Their flea market is packed full of treasures including antiques, furniture, electronics, and tons more. There’ll also be a BBQ and bake sale so you can munch while you shop.
8. Earth Day Festival

Where: Downsview Park, Etobicoke, ON M3K 2C5
Spring is a beautiful time to reconnect with nature so why not take the kids to the Earth Day Festival at Downsview Park? They’ll enjoy bird of prey demonstrations, face painting, a campfire sing-along, and nature walks. It’s the perfect day out for the family and all events are free.
9. Nifty Nests and Bouncing Babies Family Nature Walk

Cost: Suggested donation of $2-$5
With the parks and gardens in full bloom, there’s no better time to get outside and enjoy nature. High Park Nature Centre is organizing a family nature walk with children in mind. They’ll learn about the wildlife being born at this time of year as well as their mating habits!
10. Clean Toronto Together Community Clean-Up

Where: Prince of Wales Park, 1 Third St, Etobicoke, ON M8V 2X5
Want to support the community this month? Volunteers are needed for the Prince of Wales Park Clean-Up Day, to help remove trash from the Prince of Wales Park and accompanying shoreline. Meet at the wading pool in the park. Families are welcome and you are guaranteed to feel good about yourself afterwards!
