Each month, we shine a spotlight on one of the incredible businesses Etobicoke has to offer. Since March in Toronto can be a bit dreary, we thought we’d bring you to a flower shop for a little dose of what we love about spring. Enter Royal York Flowers!
Seriously, who doesn’t love the sight and smell of beautiful fresh flowers?
We stumbled across this Mimico gem a couple of years ago while looking for some nice flowers for a home that we were staging in the neighbourhood. And are we ever happy we did?!
The flowers are fresh, the service is great, the variety is awesome, and the price is right. That day two years ago was the beginning of a great relationship between the ThompsonSells team and Royal York Flowers. We quickly discovered that not only did they have great flowers, they also had an assortment of unique gifts that really come in handy for our clients.
The Garden Center
However, the best of Royal York Flowers has to be its garden centre. It’s filled with gorgeous potted planters that are so unique and last the entire season. It opens for Easter and we just can’t wait to see the selection this year.

If you have a wedding or other special occasion, Royal York Flowers is the perfect spot for all your bouquet and centrepiece needs.
A Family Business
The business is owned by a husband and wife team, Teresa and Steven, who work extremely hard to make sure that your experience at their shop is a great one. They originally owned a shop in Mississauga and moved to their current location three years ago. Since then, their business has been booming.
