There are so many fantastic businesses in Etobicoke to try. Find out where we’ve been this month!
I love hearing stories about people that follow their dreams to create new and exciting businesses. Today, I met with Karen Mickelson, owner of GOOD Grains in The Kingsway.
Karen is passionate and knowledgable about living a healthy lifestyle that includes a plant-based diet and regular exercise. She also understands the time struggles that busy households have. Cooking home-made meals that are healthy can be challenging with only so many hours in a day. Karen saw a need for healthy, vegan take-out options for busy families on-the-go. And that’s just what Good Grains is.
Our Experience
I was recommended to try Good Grains from an associate Sandy Holyoak who shared Karen’s passion for healthy living. I initially tried the Curried Butternut Squash Bisque. and from that moment, I was hooked. It was absolutely delicious. It was so great it was almost hard to believe that it was also healthy. Since my first visit, I have now tried several of their entrees and they do not disappoint.
