You might have plans with friends and family this Easter weekend, but since it’s a long one, it doesn’t hurt to keep an eye out for some fun activities to keep you and the family entertained. Indeed, there’s something for everyone on our list of nine fun things to do in Etobicoke. Let’s get started!

1. The New Toronto Passion Play

When: April 14th-16th (various times)

Where: Church on the Queensway, 1536 The Queensway, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 1T5

Cost: $5

The Toronto Passion Play has been running over Easter weekend since 1991 and since then has been seen by over 300,000 people. This brand new version of the show features a full cast and crew including singers, dancers, animals, and a live orchestra.

2. Port Credit Easter Fair

When: Saturday, April 15th, 11am – 5pm

Where: Corner of Elmwood Avenue and Lakeshore Road East

It’s just outside of Etobicoke, but not too far, and if you’re looking for a day of family fun, Port Credit is the place to be this Saturday! Bring along your baskets and hunt for eggs hidden in Port Credit’s East Village before turning them in for a goody bag. Look out for the Golden Eggs with special prizes inside! There’ll also be face painting, activities, inflatables, and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.

3. Easter Buffet at Old Mill

When: Sunday, April 15th, Brunch: 10am – 1:30pm, Dinner: 5pm – 7:30pm

Where: Old Mill, 21 Old Mill Rd, Etobicoke, ON M8X 1G5

Cost: $24.95 – $49.95

If everyone needs a break and you can’t decide who will host this year, don’t worry, Old Mill has you sorted. Whether you opt for brunch or dinner, there will be plenty of delicious food on offer at their Easter buffet. Take along the family and load up your plates with carved roast beef, bone-in ham, an array of seafood, and lots more.

4. Centennial Park Conservatory Easter Show

When: Friday 14th onwards, 10am – 5pm daily

Where: Centennial Park Conservatory, 151 Elmcrest Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9C 3S2

Centennial Park Conservatory is open to the public year round, but this Friday marks the beginning of the Easter Flower Show. Take a walk in the park and visit the conservatory to see hydrangeas, Easter lilies, and lots more flowers in full bloom. You can even take a picnic and make a day of it.

5. Toronto Discovery Walk

When: Anytime

Where: Various parts of the Humber River

Speaking of picnics and enjoying nature, why not take advantage of the mild weather and explore one of the city’s Discovery Walks. A couple of local ones include the Humber River, Old Mill, and Marshes Walk and the Lambton House Hotel & Lower Humber River Walk. Each one will take you on a scenic route where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Humber River and explore nearby neighborhoods.

6. Peppa Pig and the Easter Bunny at Fantasy Fair

When: Friday, April 14th, 1pm – 4pm

Where: Fantasy Fair, Woodbine Shopping Centre & Fantasy Fair, 500 Rexdale Blvd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6K5

If the weather doesn’t hold up, Fantasy Fair is always a great option to keep the kids (and adults) entertained for a few hours. And if you happen to go there on Friday afternoon, your little ones will have the extra treat of meeting Peppa Pig and the Easter Bunny!

7. Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Hop at CUES

When: Friday, April 14th, 1oam – 1pm

Where: Children’s Urban Enrichment Centre 2986 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8V 1J9

Cost: $5 – $15

Children’s Urban Enrichment Centre offers a wonderful environment for kids to play, learn, and get creative. They hold a family play time every Friday but this week it’s extra special. There’ll be Easter Bunny arts and crafts, music, dance, and lots more. Lunch, snacks and treats will be served too. Also, if you’re looking for something to entertain kids that are off school on Monday, CUES is offering a full or half-day camp.

8. Long Weekend Easter Dance at Palais Royale

When: Saturday, April 15th, 8pm – 1am

Where: Palais Royale, 1601 Lake Shore Blvd W, Toronto, ON M6K 3C1

Cost: $20

If you want to get your groove on this weekend, the Easter Dance at Palais Royale might be just the ticket. Get dressed up and head on down to strut your stuff to favorites from the 70’s to current hits. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.

9. Sunwing Bootcamp

When: Daily until end of April, 5:30pm

Where: 50 Fasken Dr, 2nd Floor, Etobicoke, ON M9W

On the other hand, if you’re looking to kick start your spring fitness regime this weekend, the Sunwing bootcamp might be more your thing. This program runs daily until the end of April and requires registration.
