New Toronto Co-operative Nursery School is tucked away on the waterfront in New Toronto right beside the Lawn Bowing Club.
It is a parent-run, cooperative, non-profit nursery school that strives to meets the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and creative needs of the preschooler.
They offer two, three or five mornings a week (9:15-11:45 am). The school runs from September to June. Small class size of 16. They include special days and educational visitors. The outdoor play structure is right on the water. It’s a coop so there are parent jobs & fundraising activities.
